Holywell.
Another tough game Friday, but one we have to win. Steve Lewis is cleared to play, and Hartley will no doubt have a screamer.
I think if you selected a team of our ex players in this league, youd have a team capable of winning the league.

Re: Holywell.
At last a win in wild and windy conditions. Left it late granted but it would have been a travesty if we had gone home with one point instead of three. Despite self-combusting twice (again) the win was comfortable and well deserved a hugely improved performance played some neat football and there was a big improvement on winning the second ball. Couple of players stood out for me namely Hassell and Partridge who had good games. The only downside was conceding two sloppy goals, both were needless and again glaring defensive errors. Lets put this game into perspective, this was a very, very poor Holywell side who on this showing will struggle this season, but that apart very happy with the win and hopefully onwards and upwards now?

Re: Holywell.
Great character shown to grind a win. We need to stop shipping cheap goals though.

Re: Holywell.
Great to get the win IMO fully deserved 👏👏 terrible penalty decision which even the Holywell faithful i was stood with admitted!!So one nil down totally against the run of play..We created so many chances that should of been finished off that we really should of been out of sight by half time as We were attacking down the wings for fun!! Bit of luck.. which was due !! with the deflection on the first goal..great Free kick for second but A couple of errors let them in again!!!...Dominated the second half and attacked at will but could not find the finish.Kept going to the end and got our reward with the scrambled goal..cue scenes 👏👏👏👏⚽⚽....Hassall,Pritch,Murphy and Smith stood out for me. and generally an overall good peformance. Re: Holywell.
RHYL39 yes a really good game but why every game we concede in the first 15 mins or so and then in the 2nd half exactly the same - the usual suspects- the defence needs to be shored up asap good performances from pritch murphy and halsall especially - some on here a few weeks ago saying he wasnt fit to wear the shirt-he has improved week on week -well done to Arron- also Nash had a solid game popping up for the late winner as well-a moral boosting game for the lads the celebrations for the game and at the end were brilliant as were the fans - lets carry this over for conwy!!!! Still need a proven goalscorer tho- is lamb available? and does anyone know why Cai Owen wasnt included in the squad?
