Re: upcoming fixtures

Exactly we know we’re always in it even if we go a goal down for some reason that just didn’t happen yesterday. Heard that Gibbo was giving instructions by an ear piece I’ve heard that, this shouldn’t of been aloud. would like Chambers to be given a couple starts not good to have 20 mins here and their, Bazza Tozza seems better as a super sub and Matty Worrall seems good handful when he plays.

When we have to change tactics and go 2 up top it’s likw they don’t know how to play football think that needs working on as an alternate option.

Re: upcoming fixtures

Some football fans are always moaning and lack hope. Others are always full of hope (optimisim really) but its not based on reality. How about a New Years Resolution of Hope based on reality ?

A great winning run doesnt wipe the record clear of a previous losing run, and neither does one loss wipe out the achievement of the winning run. Put the axes to grind back in the cupboard (be they grudges against any players or club officers, or against the pyramid in which we play, or being too close or defensive of current squad and management.

We are where we are - still in the chasing pack or second group of clubs in this league and a bit above the mid-table clubs. Given that the only promotion spot was settled a month or so ago, where excatly we are isnt really the issue now, but whether we're on the way up or down. And we're certainly still way above where we were a few weeks ago. So reality dictates that the two goals for this season now are (1) the Cup and (2) going on a morale-boosting run in the league to attract players for next season. Last time (in a much better psotion, it took us 3 seasons to get out of the Cymru Alliance, so lets make sure that the third season is productive this time also.

I'll only have managed to do the 250-mile trip to get to about 10 games this season, so my question to the more regular fans is - what additions/improvements to the squad should we be targeting for the future ? Bawsed on the games I've seen, and match reports, I'd reckon
1) An attacking midfielder who will score goals - the sort of role Cads and Alex have played in the past
2) A playmaker - although I still reckon that Hassall could be converted to that role in the same way that Macca was converted from the wing some 7 seasons ago
3) A central striker who is a consistent finisher (few and far between - Worrall still young and could develop).
4) A left-sided defender - a bit more solid than the ones we have who are better going forward.

Partridge plays the ‘attacking’ midfielder role always bursts into the box
Hassall can play anywhere in midfield personally I’m sure management would want him playing centrally but at the minute we’ve got no left sided player who can come in instead, Culshaw looked better in his brief cameo.
So we’ll probably see a tinkered side on Saturday
We’ve got 3 strikers and only one position to fill, hard to keep players happy with Pritch also having to miss the last few due to injury.

Next season Prestatyn Town look a much stronger bet to make a push for promotion. They look like a proper well organised team. Even with a back room staff on a par with premier league teams. Rhyl still look like a mid table shambles at best.

Not sure where you have appeared from but did you miss the past 9 games prior to Boxing Day. Talk about judging the side on 45 mins of football, sorry but this is an idiotic post.

Hellas only posts rubbish when we lose and I personally think he/she is an opposition fan on a wind up. I blank his/her posts now.
