Today's games
We got the win, EVERY other top 6 club dropped points. Bangor losing at home puts our defeat last time round into perspective, although maybe Port scoring three at Prestatyn suggests we need to improve our finishing.
Bangor 0 Guilsfield 2
Conwy 1 Airbus 1
Flint 1 Denbigh 1
Gresford 5 Holyhead 1
Llan YM 2 Buckley 0
Penrhyncoch P-P Holywell
Preststyn 3 Porthmadog 3
Rhyl 2 Ruthin 0
ALSO - we are top of the league still on results over the last 5 matches despite the Prestatyn defeat.
HOWEVER - we are still just as close to the relegation spot as to Airbus despite their two slips in three matches.
It does however augur well for a good Cup run, and a morale-boosting second league run which will hopefully then attract the 3 or 4 quality additions which we need for the squad (whatever you think they may be) to make 2019/20 our season.

Re: Today's games
Good 3 points today and it was vital to bounce back after losing on Boxing Day. Wasn't the prettiest performance but we did the hard work in the 1st half and scored the 2 goals.
Second half was a non event but it was nice to keep another clean sheet.
Another home game next week v a side who have been struggling but it will be their cup final like it was for Prestatyn so we have to be on our toes.

Re: Today's games
Let's not kid ourselves today's performance was a huge improvement on the lack lustre showing on Boxing Day. Although bright in the first 45 minutes playing some neat approach play and deservedly 2 up at HT the second half showing was nothing short of a disaster, couldn't keep the ball endless passes went astray, tackles missed time and again. The only plus was Ruthin had nothing to hurt us underlined by the fact Rory only had one save of note to make. Finally can someone please tell me how the management can prefer Torrance to Chambers must be one of the world's greatest mysteries?

Re: Today's games
Good first half again but terrible in the 2nd half. The team has got to learn that a game lasts for 90 minutes & not 45. I also can't understand why Torrance is favoured to Chambers. Chambers is bigger, faster & can pass the ball to his own teammates.

Re: Today's games
Thought the defence played very well today especially Ben Nash who was Man of the match in my opinion. Was good to see Crowther in Goal who hopefully is number one again. We've seemed to miss Pritchard the past few games hopefully he's back for next week.
