I agree, a 90 minute focused performance is a must. They have been far and few between so far this season. For me the two games that that produced this were Portmadog (away) and Bangor (home).

Despite Aberystwyth losing 6-1 at home to Nomads tonight, Ashley Ruane only got on for the final 25 minutes. Probably couldnt afford him. Rob only got 15 minutes playing time after travelling to Aber, but did score.

Anyway does the January transfer window have any significance in Tier 2 ? Probably need to stick with what we've got for second half of season

Just what we needed, Penrhyncoch getting Lamb just before we play them !

Many results last fortnight have gone our way while we have gone the lucky 13 games with just the one loss. If we beat Airbus, we are just 9 points off them now rather than a whopping 15-18 points adrift.

The next 5 games - til the end of February - will however show what this team is made of. First up the said Lamb-filled Penrhyncoch on a Friday night, and they need to win these games in hand to get out of relegation. Then 2nd placed Porthmadog. Then three consecutive away games against Gresford (1 place below us), top three Fflint and Airbus.

Win 4 of those 5 games and the team can really hold its head up high. But let uas fans be realistic and not underestimate the challenge

Re: saturdays game

Enjoyed today’s game but should have been 6 or 7. Pritch and Smith did very well coming back from injuries. Barry held the ball up well and got a deserved goal. Spud his usual tricky self - shame about the penalty put it a few yards wide. Cai Owen, what a player. Livewire on the right. Such an exciting prospect. Azza Hassall was explosive when he came on, did amazing. Gaz Partridge, who was very inconsistent earlier in the season, seems to have grown into the role of box to box midfielder and had a great game too. Fez an absolute tower at the back.

Thought the ref today was very good but we did get lucky with a few of their chances and Rory playing sweeper keeper - one clearance which their striker charged down and the ball went just the other side of the post. The goal mouth scramble just before our third goal no idea how it stayed out...

Onto next week, no idea what to expect with a trip that far on a Friday night... no one I spoke to today is going down so hope to see some live Tweeting...

Will tweet from Penrhyncoch, but there's not much in the way of a mobile signal at the ground.
Any cvhance we can sign by then that guy from Port Talbot who has a unique way to Silence the Lamb ?!
