Rhyl v Port
So which of our former players is up to haunt us this time - after Carl Lamb did his best last night ?
Pritch in goal for Port, or Siôn Edwards at the other end. Key to understanding Porthmadog success is that they play as a team - bit like Rhuthun, but better.
btw, if our new striker is to go straight into the team v Port, it would be good to organise some form of practice match Tuesday to see how he links with Murphy, Pritch and co

Re: Rhyl v Port
I don’t see a practice match being organised. After Torrence scoring in his last 2 he will be playing against Port I’d say, more than likely see him on the bench

Re: Rhyl v Port
No point having a practice match, not like we’ve got a break in between games, Bazza Tozza was brilliant last night, apparently he’s young and in the same league as us.

Re: Rhyl v Port
Bit worrying that the central strikers seem to come and go - has Worral gone again, for example ?

Re: Rhyl v Port
What’s worrying about it?
I was told that no one has seen or heard from Worrell since the Guilsfield game that he last played in

Re: Rhyl v Port
Certainly not Llyr spoke to him yesterday at Ruthin v Airbus match, sat that one out was suspended. Worrall played for Llay Welfare v Corwen last Saturday so I'm guessing he's gone?

Re: Rhyl v Port
Maybe he didn’t have the commitment to play for a club like us...?
New striker is a player from Gresford who scored against us so it’s one of
Aaron Edwards
Sam Molyneux or
Jordan McArtur
Aaron has just signed for Guils, Jordan scored for Gresford yesterday so that leaves Sam Molyneux...?

Re: Rhyl v Port
I had sort of taken it for granted that it was Jake Eyres again due to usual Denbigh/Gresford/Rhyl connection. But you're probably right in Sam Molyneux
Previous "worrying" comment referred to Worrall and so many strikers drifting in and out of the club over the last two years without actually settling the issue. To settle the issue of the prized asset of a central striker though, you probably either need the funds to tie down a Moran/Hunt partnership or the community loyalty of a Don Spendlover or Llŷr Morris.
