Bangor City relegated, Holywell saved

My speed reading of the Disciplinary hearing suggests that Bangor have been deducted 42 points for playing ineligible players (as well as hefty fines for loads of other offecnes). 51 less 42 points would mean their finishing the season with just 9 points, being relegated, and Holywell then saved from relegation. Have I missed or mis-read something ?

Yourright iolo, they also have a transfer embargo until 31st Dec.
They have until 29th May to appeal.
Absolutely disastrous what has happened to our great rivals, really feel for the fans they have been sold down the river.

Hope the new fans' team get put into Tier 2 straight away - if they can fulfill the requirements - they've let Colwyn Bay straight in. If the fans could get funds together, they'd be allowed a season of ground-share to sort things out. We could even support them financially by taking 500 fans over and beating them 10-0 !

Seriously though - its rivalry not hatred. Any chance of a Rhyl v Bangor veterans game to raise funds for Bangor fans ?

Not sure if Holywell will be allowed back in considering there was going to be 17 teams next year

I can well imagine that the Welsh FA knew this was on the horizon hence Colwyn Bay coming straight in at tier 2. If that was their logic then I totally understand Colwyn Bay coming back to the welsh leagues where they have done.

Although feeling sorry for the fans ,no sympahy for the club. However if "The Fans" formed a new club why should they go straight into The 2nd tier. No one knows where they'll play or what standard of players they would attract. If they had that sort of money why was it not put into the existing club by buying out the existing owners.

a lot of of bangors woes are down to contracts or expenses this could upset the apple cart for all clubs so i hope management will have anticipated this as i dont think bangor will go down without a fight

I dont know nearly all the facts, but I doubt that it would have made sense to give money to or try to do a deal with the current owners of Bangor.

Looking at Bangors twitter, they seem to be operating in some parallel universe to the rest of the world. They currently have an automatic relegation and transfer ban in place but they keep announcing signings - and some really strange ones at that. Anybody know what is going on?
