Official Rhyl site asks if Rhyl "can get back to winning ways" at home to Corwen this weekend. Last week Corwen lost 2-6 at home to mighty Gresford. Getting back to winning ways would be a very modest aim.

Him and Max along with Rory were our worst players last week. Cai cannot defend so on that basis I’d leave him out.

So is this the first time this season that Hassall, Cai and Spud have all started together ? With two strikers also in the starting 11, and playing the bottom club who let in 6 at home last week and are managerless.....Well, if we dont score a load, we probably never will !

Still 0-0 after half an hour. But then I looked and saw that there had not been a single goal either in any of the 6 other games in the league in the first 30 minutes. Plenty of time in an hour to get the goals, although no obvious goal potential on the bench if things dont work out

Molyneux finally gets a goal for Rhyl just before HT. His name - hitting the bar, near misses, just offside, a=is coming up cntinually in the tweets.
Could be that he is playing off Asa who is creating the chances and space for him. If not, would it be an idea as a second half sub to bring on an extra (holding) midfielder in place of Asa, so as to release Cai and Steve Thomas to play further upfield. With them putting in the crosses, and Hassall and Spud supporting Molyneux, it would be interesting to see if that produced more goals

I can confirm Asa does not create anything for Molyneux.
Good performance today, against a team who came with no intention of attacking. Was always going to be once we scored one we’d get 3/4 today.
Tom Creamer was very good today as was Murphy makes such a difference
