Cup Game in Caernarfon
Are we certain that Sion and Steve are eligible to play ? If so presumably start with Toby and Sion either side of Steve and Alex just behind ? Ramsay has not played for a junior club in an earlier round - he's eligible to be in goal for them ? He's good but we know his weaknesses.
We know, if they had people at BV on Tuesday, they will be looking to put a lot of thro balls between our CBs with midfielders looking to make runs thro. Hopefully having Stef will stop all that nonsense !

Re: Cup Game in Caernarfon
They have signed Lee Fowler also for the game I think he's eligible to play for Caernarfon. If we play football they shouldn't live with us. I think there pitch will be in better shape than ours also so will only benefit us.
Toby and Sion either side of Steve with Alex in the 10 role. Would have Ash Young and Jack Abe sitting. Caernarfon will look for early long balls usually to Lloyd who is decent in the air. Then players like Darren Thomas and Nathan Craig picking up the second balls?

Re: Cup Game in Caernarfon
Yes I have seen a couple of games on there. It's got a slope but usually a fine playing surface. Ours seems to be very bobbly could do with a good roll. Not sure the reasons why it hasn't just an opinion though. Maybe waiting for a bit of rain.
Either way I'll be watching on my iPad am in work

O/T. Been trying to find betting odds for the Welsh Cup games. Nothing on t'internet and more bizarrely, not even in Welsh betting shops. Was going to have cheeky double on Rhyl & 'Tatyn to win in 90 mins.

Re: Cup Game in Caernarfon
Statyn a good bet, should get good odds. Rhyl v Statyn QF would draw a big crowd.
If the Cofis play quick long balls over the top, our CBs will deal with them no probs. Its the runs and quick thro balls along the ground and between our CBs which could cause the problems.
Unfortunately (for her and for me), my wife broke her wrist a few days ago. Children been coming in on duty last few days, but tomorrow I need to do the domestic chores which are difficult with just one hand. I need to priorotise that over a dash up north tomorrow afternoon

Re: Cup Game in Caernarfon
They reckon they have a seriously weakened team with 6 first-teamers out of contention. One or two recognisable faces. Not just Lee Fowler in for them, but also Carl Owen back again. 2004 (13 years ago) he hit our crossbar for Port and almost stopped us getting that first title.
Game could be seriously scrappy at first with lots of new individuals in both teams.
Need to settle down by taking early chances which will surely come
