Cfon v Rhyl, a must win game.

Although promotion is now out of the question, lets restore pride, and turnover the champions in waiting. They will play with a very pacy front three with the dynamic Jay Gibbs just behind.

Lets go with a quick back four to combat this, this should include JJ and Gerwyn. Been a big fan of Brewie but father time has caught him up.

Also give Sarnowski a start, hes not put a foot wrong.

We do need a pacey central defender in
JJ right back
Brewie

Gerwyn... Back four for me.
Although was a bad day at the office in general when we were defending..

Certainly need to snap out of any "nothing left to play for" mentality should that arise.

Realistically we lost the championship by the end of August, but there's still something important to play for - and I dont mean the League Cup.

At the moment we're hovering between (1) the "chasing pack" contesting a top 3 finish i.e. the Denbighs, Holywells, maybe Airbus and Port and (2) the mid-table brigade of Fflints down to Rhuthun.

If we finish strongly top-3, it will set us up for next season. If however we finish midtable (and it could happen - if others won their games in hand we would now be 7th or 8th out of 15), then it will really demoralise the club, players and fans. So we need to press on, starting at Caernarfon, for that strong top-3 finish. Caernarfon with 11 men are unbeaten all season, let's change that.

Rhyl need to sign two more mobile/younger/fitter centre backs asap. Shocking on Saturday how slow they are. Brewerton has been a great servant to Rhyl and local footy. But looking like time to hang up his boots. And Tony Davies.... Jesus.

Disagree strongly...from what I have seen and heard about Gerwyn is not good. Poor player, personally I think we need two new centre half’s with a bit of desire about them. Not just wandering around a pitch like fairies

A few players were off key on Saturday.

I wouldn't drop Rory over one or two mistakes, he hadn't put a foot wrong either until Sat.

The back four does need looking at tho and I am sure Conno will address this.

Going forward we do look like we will score a bundle of goals but we have to stop conceding silly goals like we have of late.

Find it difficult to comprehend Gerwyn is still being discussed, where is he? Not been seen for weeks. As usual the lack of information that comes from the club re player injuries/suspensions/transfers (in and out) including general club news etc is as non-existent as ever. Time and again at public meetings we have been promised that this would change but sadly its as bad as ever in my opinion. On Saturday we had 3 subs (4 including a goalie) several players who were in the squad 3/4 weeks ago seem to have done a disappearing act? If Conno has deemed it appropriate to have a cull then fair enough but supporters need to be told in my opinion. Rant over!

No idea where he is, last played in the win against Holyhead. I think the weak bench is down to money not football decisions.

Maybe Jon can enlighten us.
