Strategic Plan
We have found out, as many clubs already have that changing managers on a regular basis does not work. We seem to take knee jerk decisions every season of late.
Whats needed is a more strategic outlook on how the club needs to move forward.
Identify what qualifications and experience and playing style of the manager we want and then try and recruit the right person for the job. We havent done that in recent seasons . For example last year we had Niall appointed for his qualification rather than his experience whos selections were influenced by players much older than him. Then Conno appointed for his experience as a player rather than his management skills which led to an influx of players from the North West and an exodus of local players (some good , some bad, from both areas). This season we recruit EMJ who has a good track record, but not the qualifications or contacts, which has resulted in an influx of ex Denbigh and Wrexham based players and an exodus of better players at the club ie Hartley, and a huge management team to ensure we meet licensing requirement as the real manager does not possess the right ones.
A recruitment policy where whenever possible we look at North Wales based players first and if the quality is not there then look towards Merseyside and beyond. Many will disagree with this, but heres my reasoning. We are a Welsh club, in Wales, and for every local player in the squad our gate is going to increase through their friends and families.
Whatever happens in the next two games the current management team should be kept until the end of the season so they can try and put things right. We are far away from being good enough to challenge this season, but we are also too good to go down well be midtable to sixth.
In the background though the board need to look at next season now, and have a manager and strategy in place.

Quite a sensible post concerning the current position of the club. However, the faults of today were sown 6/7 years ago by putting in place inexperienced people who haven't a clue on how to run a football club. Many people voiced their concerns at the time, but were scoffed at by some, funny how often predictions come true. The club is dying a slow agonizing death and soon wont have enough cash for it's own funeral, unless there are some people put in charge who know what they are doing.
As for the club being too good to go down, don't forget - that's what they said about The Titanic.

Maybe they did but did bugger all to help at that time so someone had to step in and take over the club. At least those people who stepped in have tried and done something rather than sit in the background sniping away and doing f**k all to help like some.
If you put in as much effort to help the club than you do moaning about it then maybe the club could be top of the Welsh Premier again.

You can only help those who want to be helped.

Half the people here would still moan about that as it's still the WPL
