Re: Holywell.

We are not that far from being a very good side we do create the chances but we need a proven goalscorer to put the chances away

with ben nash back i think we are now a bit stronger and with the permanent signing of cai we are getting there just need a striker

I agree with you there, a striker and a CM away from having a very good side. Some of the football we play is lovely to watch.

It was always going to take time to get settled let’s hope this is where we start after that win

Are you serious, just need a striker and CM. No,1, weve got one of the best CM in the league when fit Caroll.

No 2 in 13 competive games weve conceeded 27 goals! Thats almost 2.1 goals conceded per game!

I think our problems are and still remain at the back.

Re: Holywell.

I’d be happy to stick with that back 3 for the games going forward now, bring Cai in on the right then still undecided on the left side,
Culshaw hasn’t looked great seems to be on the pitch for set pieces yet some games never gets out on them whether his injuries played a factor in his performance we’ll see.
Maybe could play Hassall on the left been brilliant ever since he came off the bench at Conwy seems to have his confidence back.
Don’t know where KP’s best position is, never really consistent in the 90 mins per game always does one good thing then one bad thing soon after similar to Partridge.
Hopefully Chambers can get over his niggly injuries looked good on the ball and got players in and around him when he started.

Id like to see a back four, were conceding 2.1 goals a game on average, whilst were scoring an average of 1.7 goals a game. If you added friendlies the goals conceeding would be even worse.

Like anything you build you start with the foundations.

Must be partly due to the rotation of different defenders that we’ve had since the start of the season even Rory hasn’t been at his best due to the fact he hasn’t had a solid back line in front of him, clear signs of not trusting the players in front of him causing him to make mistakes.
If you’re going with a back four then I’d go with Cai, Nash, Smith then who knows at lb

What i have seen from Rory is he dose not command his area does not talk to the back four and maybe they have not got the confidence in him he needs to be constantly talking to the back four in my mind could be wrong

Culshaw is a good player but when you are carrying an injury it hard to give 100% but if you carry on playing then be ready to have some bad feedback on your play

He's got better over time, obviously it's something he's working on, He seemed better at the end of last season with it, I do think it'll get better when we have a settled defence, like we ended with last season.
With Culshaw he hasn't been consistent through games, whether that is down to the injuries he's had we'll see, obviously hopefully it was his injuries holding him back so he can slot in on the left without us having to swap and change every game or few games due to form.

I do believe Crowther is one of the best keepers in the Welsh Pyramid, won us many points over the last few seasons or should I say saved points haha.
Surprised none of the teams we played against in pre season enquired about him unless they weren't aloud.
