That first half was one of the worst I’ve seen, no cohesion at all!!!
Don’t like to name players but if we want to get back into the promise land of the WPL... we need a right back, left back, centre forward and wingers.
We have no one capable of putting a quality ball in the box consistently. Since Christmas 3/4 players have been very poor.
We have a striker in Torrence who is never in the box, I feel sorry for Molyneux who has been really good and always looks a threat.
Sullivan I don’t know what he does...Murphy’s game last night summed his season up, sloppy and then shows his ability with 2 wonderful goals.
Kai Owen has been poor the last month other than Holywell. Never wants to defend, the second goal he was 10 yards into their half when play broke down on the half way line.
Hassel has been a major miss for us since getting injured,
looks like you need a compleat new team m8

Re: Bangor
Kai was poor for the whole first half with his passing, and then second half gave away a penalty...
We need 4 players who are coming into the 11 an improvement on what we have currently.

Re: Bangor
we were atrocious in the first half- senior players giving the ball away cheaply and defending really badly - six or seven players just didnt want to know. whatever was said at half time worked and we dominated scored three goals and could and should have had more. critisizing players mentioned in previous posts is unfair most of them are kids and have a great future at rhyl if you can keep them. people forget this is their 1st season together and yes i agree we need 4-5 new lads.a dominant CH and proven goalscorer asap.sullivan has had stick on here he is 19 and played all over the pitch so has murphy. owen and nash gettin stick as well i hope we can keep these lads other clubs are looking at them. no one has critisized management and rightly so its their first season with this team as well. i believe this setup with new intakes will do great next season. we can do without picking on individuals RHYL is a team sorry for going on

Re: Bangor
Good comments earnie and agree with you on most things but I feel that management get things wrong sometimes I am not going to criticize but where I think its not right is they have no plan b sully gets moved all over the pitch as you said but he will not change the two in the middle last night was crying out for a bit of energy in the middle but instead he plays the lad 20min as a 10 and then moves him to a wing back the lad is a centre mid I know this because I watched him a few times at connahs quay just feel like because he is two footed management make him fill in a lot think back to the great run we had sully played as one of three in the middle everyone has a favourite player and I suppose sully is mine just think he has a talent but he has to play the position he was brought in to play

Re: Bangor
rhyl observer your spot on about sully he has played everywhere hes been told to and given 100% he has loads of potential and hes what?19.i think managemet have had to tweak the team a lot this season with silly suspensions and unfortunate injuries and as i said this is the first season for players and staff we should all rally round the team and with a few more signings look forward to next season

Don’t like to name players but if we want to get back into the promise land of the WPL... we need a right back, left back, centre forward and wingers.

Kai Owen has been poor the last month other than Holywell. Never wants to defend, the second goal he was 10 yards into their half when play broke down on the half way line.
Hassel has been a major miss for us since getting injured,
"Sullivan, I dont know what he does"> Presumably he does what the management tell him to do ! He's not a natural defender but is being played as a wing back His quality is obviously as an attacking midfielder.Cai is obviously being told to get forward whreer he has been brilliant for us. With 3 accross the back and holding midfielder(s), it shouldnt be necessary for the wingbacks to be constantly in defensive mode.
I reckon it must be me. I dont recognise these descriptions of the match, and again my take if different to others !
I watched the games at Guilsfield and at Bangor. We were miles better at Bangor than at Guilsfield. That first 15 minutes the lads were all over Bangor, but we didnt make it count. They scored completely against the run of play and that knocked the confidence of our lads for 20 minutes - during which time uncharacteristically sloppy defending gave awy 3 quick goals and massive groans from the fans.
I agree that ti doesnt seem to work very well to have the two central strikers - especially as they are often not central. Sam worked hard all night and had to great chances to score before he made it count with our first goal - which was scored in the first half.
Second half we didnt get at them early as we had done in the first half, and allowed them to settle. What Bangor did have was the speed and enthusiasm of youth, and they made it count with that quick break, the 3 unsuccessful fouls and the penalty for the fourth goal. From then on, it was all us. Many close misses besides Murphy'ws two great strikes, and we were pressing hard for the equaliser.
Mor ethan anything else, what a magnificent gesture from management and players to come over to speak to and thank, and even apologise to all the fans behin=d the Bangor goal at the end. These were lads whio were really feeling the pain, certainly not "couldnt care less" attitude as others have suggested. Players, management and fans were one and it was a privilege to be there last night at the end.
Main criticism is that it is just not happening for us as a team - we are relying , as we have most season, on individual brilliance from Hassall or Sopud or Cai or determination from Nash. We need some creative glue in midfield to hold things together and whatever central striker needs to be clinical.
Let's not accuse the lads of not caring nor being sloppy. We need to encourage them to take certain risks in getting a fast passing game going, and accept that at this level there will be mistakes.
Just two other things - Nort immediately obvious why Rory wasnt in goal last night, and the new Swiss lad looked good.
