Below the First Team
What will be the structure of teams for CPD Y Rhyl under the first team ? Reserves or Development or Youth ? What age groups ? Has it been decided/ And in what league would the "second" team play ?
To aid progression through to the first team, at any level, and to keep whole squad involved, I've always been in favour of Reserves playing in a competitive league (like Rhyl Res always used to play in Welsh League North)rather than in a Reserve or Youth League. I note that there is a Tier 5 team called "Denbigh Development" - is this the Denbigh Town Youth/Reserve team ?

Re: Below the First Team
The first team itself makes a mockery of needing £175k 4 months ago, so creating an academy/reserve team after disbanding an academy of hundreds of local footballers is a big two fingers to everyone involved.
Concentrate on asking how they can afford this season now and not 4 months ago when all that's changed is the name and playing division

Re: Below the First Team
https://nwsport.co.uk/2020/08/07/tier-3-reserve-leagues-confirmed/ Even St Asaph, as well as Prestatyn and Denbigh, have a reserve team competing in the league. "Denbigh Development" (if same club) also in Tier 5.
Are we not represented in the reserve league because it is FAW-controlled and Tier 4 comes under NWCFA, or did we decide against ?
